HKBC Future Skills Development Project - Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups English Public Speaking Contest 2020 Pre-Contest Training Workshops

Over the weekend of November 30th and Dec 1st, 5 of our students (Candice Wu of S2A, Lufy Lau of S3A, Kay Au of S4D, Taffy Tam of S4C, and Angel Tsui of S5C) attended the Pre-Contest Training Workshops to equip themselves with public speaking skills so as to prepare for joining upcoming HKFYG English Public Speaking Contest 2020. During the two sessions, our students not only had first-hand experience in how to write and deliver a captivating speech, but also befriended and learnt from potential contestants from other schools. On Dec 1st, our students also had the chance to visit the heritage site - The HKFYG Leadership Institute, which is the former Fanling Magistracy. It is hoped that our students will apply what they have learnt in both the Contest and in their everyday English assignments and interaction.
