The Language Across the Curriculum Committee and the library jointly hosted an engaging lunchtime book-sharing session. During this session, insights from "24 Hours in Ancient China: A Day in the Life of the People Who Lived There" were shared. Mr. Sze recounted the story of a tomb robbery, which illuminated the lesser-known aspects of ancient Chinese life. He also made a comparison between the perceptions of knights in Chinese and Western cultures, highlighting the cultural and historical differences. The event was well-received, enabling participants to gain a deeper appreciation of ancient China and its rich history.
